The Tax Collector is responsible for billing and collecting all city property taxes, municipal water & sewer fees, and trash collection charges. Other services available at the tax collectors office are dog licenses, applications for water turn off, and change of mailing address. For your convenience, you may pay these charges using our drive-thru service window.  However, if you have more than 3 transactions you must pay your bills inside City Hall.

Residential: $115 per quarter (minimum), which includes15,000 gallons. After 15,000 gallons $ 2.31 per thousand gallons is added. 
Senior: $85 per quarter(minimum) plus the overage.

Note: Senior & Veteran rates/credits must be applied for and are granted based on eligibility requirements pursuant to NJSA §54:4-8.40 et. seq. (Please contact the Tax Office for further details.)
