BRIDGETON -- Two months of talk became 15 points of planning unveiled by Mayor Albert Kelly Tuesday night that he hopes will deter violence in the city.
Each of the 15 programs come with an objective, a way of spreading the word, who will lead the effort, what’s needed to proceed and a start date.
“Everything that we’re doing tonight and going forth we’re going to refine,” said Kelly.
The plan presented Tuesday tackles violence from all angles — at home and school, the internet, the community at large, houses of worship and offenders themselves. (Click on photo for full story).
