Food-Business Parks of Bridgeton
For over three centuries, Bridgeton has been at the center of industrial and manufacturing growth. Nowhere has this been more evident than in the food industry. From the farming and distribution of the 19th century, to Hunt Wesson Foods, Bridgeton has been a part of the food sector that has fed and supplied both the region and the nation.
While the food sector and the business of food has changed and evolved over the years, Bridgeton’s relationship with the industry has remained constant. From Cumberland Dairy to WhiteWave, Inc, Buona Vita, Inc, Cumberland Freezers, Leone Industries and now the Rutgers Food Innovation Food Center, the City of Bridgeton has been involved with the business of Food and its related sectors.
In order to build on that strong history, the City of Bridgeton has redefined our industrial parks as the Food-Business Parks of Bridgeton, featuring Food Business Park North which hosts the Rutgers Innovation Food Center and Food Business Park South, which is home to Buona Vita, Cumberland Freezers, Kintock Food Service Training Program and NJ Ethanol.
Food Business Park North features 12 acres of available ground for a food related or agri-business that seeks the benefits of co-location with Rutgers.
Food Business Park South serves as a perfect location for the small to mid-size company whose site requirements are four acres or less.
