Culinary Arts Reading Room
The Office of Development and Planning is accepting book donations, mon-fri 8:30am-4:30pm, of any food-related subject in an effort to build a collection of books that will serve as a unique reference library for area residents and visitors to the newly created "Culinary Arts District"
"Even in the digital age we still want to hold a book...it connects us to the past....the Reading Room provides that opportunity"
Whether you copy a recipe, pick up a cooking tip or just get motivated, after a visit you’ll want to bake, steam or braise a new or classic dish.
It's our goal to provide a place to create memories and new cooking traditions for you and your family.
The Culinary Arts Reading Room is a unique way, a hands-on way, a totally cost-free way for you to share time with children of all ages…let them explore, learn and get excited about the culinary arts.
