Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

Picture
The City of Bridgeton receives Community Development Block Grant funds (CDBG funds) from the Federal government to support community needs such as housing rehabilitation (roof, structural, electrical, plumbing, heating repairs), historic preservation, commercial rehabilitation, new home construction, relocation assistance, repair of infrastructure (sidewalks, lighting, curbing, etc.), and the general elimination of community blight.

Grant eligibility requirements are established by the Federal government, and will require the applicant to disclose financial and other personal information.  Residents are encouraged to contact the Development & Planning Department for assistance in determining which CDBG programs are available and how to apply for them.
