Permits
Required for all group picnics, field usage, and gazebo activities (e.g. weddings).  A fee schedule has been established depending upon the activity and areas requested.  Please call the Recreation Office for details.

Bathing Beaches
Opens in June on weekends only from June 16th.   Open between hours of 11am and 6pm seven days a week beginning June 16, 2007.   These hours are subject to change.  Certified Lifeguards patrol Sunset Lake Beach only.

Canoe Rentals
Available at Sunset Lake Thursday - Sunday from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm.  $10/hour.  For a canoe reservation, call 451-4620.

Playgrounds
Johnson Reeves Playground open all year.
(no supervision provided)

Bus Groups
For Cohanzick Zoo trips, contact the Zoo Office at 856-455-3230 ext. 242.  For other destinations in the park and recreation areas, contact Kim Gauntt at the Recreation Office.

As a service to city residents,minutes are now available. Please click on the date link below to view the corresponding meeting minutes (PDF format).  The committee meets on the second Monday of each month when not on their summer break. Please refer to the Meetings Calendar for the meeting date, time, and place.

Committee minutes are typically online within 24 hours after they are approved by the Director, and then forwarded to the webmaster by the recreation department Clerk.
