Woodruff Museum of Indian Artifacts

This exhibit contains over 20,000 artifacts related to the Lenni-Lenape Tribe that inhabited this region for many centuries, making it one of the largest and finest collections of its type in the state of New Jersey.

Location: Bridgeton Free Public Library, 150 E. Commerce Street (856) 451-2620 Hours: Monday to Friday: 1pm to 4pm Saturday: 11am to 2pm

Southern New Jersey All Sports Museum and Hall of Fame

This museum is dedicated to the teams and individuals of all sports in New Jersey. Memorabilia of many famous professional and amateur athletes are permanent exhibits. Some of these exhibits include: Willie Mays' Golden Glove; a bat collection of the Cincinnati Reds; the uniform of the first professional female umpire - Bernice Gera; area football legend Harvey Johnson; King of Softball, Eddie Feigner and much more.

Nail House Museum

Once the office of the Cumberland Nail and Iron Company, this continually evolving museum offers many special events and displays throughout the year and houses a collection of artifacts that includes articles from the early days of the Industrial Revolution.

Location: Mayor Aitken Drive,Bridgeton City Park
Hours: Open Thursday - Sunday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Potter's Tavern (before 1776)

This historic landmark is the home of New Jersey's first newspaper, The Plain Dealer. The once popular retreat of citizens who called for independence from England has been carefully restored to its 1776 appearance.

Hours: Open April through October Saturday & Sunday: 1pm to 5pm
Admission: $1.00

Swedish Farmstead

This 17th century farmstead/museum represents the type built by early Swedish colonists. Tour guides escort visitors through the farmstead that includes a bath/smokehouse, a stable, a cow & goat barn, threshing barn, storehouse, blacksmith shop, and a main residence.

Hours: Presently Closed - Open to reserved tours all year.

Kid’s Fest
The official Spring/Summer season
kick-off event at the Cohanzick Zoo. Kid’s Fest 2007 served over 2,700 people! This annual event is Admission free and provides a welcoming environment for families in our surrounding area. Kid’s Fest offers a variety of cost free entertainment throughout the day.

Competition Auditions
This 2nd Annual music competition will be accepting entry forms until May 10th.  The finalists in the competition will play at the Fourth of July Festival, with the winners being decided by public casting votes.
