July 4th Festivities The City of Bridgeton’s Recreation Department is preparing for the annual July 4th festivities.   The day begins with the annual horseshoe tournament starting at noon.  This year, the horseshoe tournament will have brand new horseshoe pits; a special thanks to volunteers Donny Woodward, Dave Woodward, and Paul Tumey for constructing the horseshoe pits...

Revitalize the housing market that has been disrupted by the fallout from subprime lending practices.
Stabilize those areas that are at high risk of continued market deterioration
Target: areas of low, moderate, and middle income benefit, where more than 51% of the people in the area had incomes in 2000 less than 120% of area median income...

    Bridgeton Public Library Summer Events schedule

  Tuesdays: June 23, 30; July 7, 21; August 4 at 10:30 am.  Children ages 2-6 and a caregiver are invited for stories, songs, finger plays, crafts and a snack.  Story time is free and does not require registration. Note: The second story time of each month is presented in American Sign Language.
